Educational input to Primary 7 Daliburgh School pupils

Staff from the Outer Hebrides Alcohol and Drug Partnership and Health Promotion delivered a Substance Use interactive session to the P7 class at Daliburgh School, South Uist, on 21st June 2018.

The learning objectives were to understand the different types of alcohol, who drinks and why; discuss the effects that different types of alcohol and drugs can have on the body, the dangers and what to do in an emergency.  There was a short talk about peer pressure and risk taking behaviours.

Pictured above are some of the photos of school pupils participating in interactive exercises.
