Stigma Training – Understanding and Responding to Stigma

A one day Stigma training course was run in Uist and facilitated by Scottish Drug Forum in conjunction with the Outer Hebrides Alcohol & Drug Partnership (ADP).

This one day training gives participants a distinct set of knowledge and skills to help them understand and address alcohol and drug related stigma. This training is aimed at service providers; emergency services; pharmacists and hospitals departments;  points of contact for people affected by addiction and organisations involved with people suffering from addiction.  The training took the form of presentations and workshops.
